The CIJ Journal
Founding Research Collection — now preparing
An interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal for research that advances the rights, wellbeing and development of children, anchored in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Scope — written for your discipline
The journal’s scope spans the disciplines that study and serve children: law and children’s rights; public health and medicine; education; social work and social policy; psychology and child development; economics; and development studies — together with the interdisciplinary work that crosses these fields, from child protection and safeguarding to climate and digital childhood. If your research concerns children, there is a scholarly home for it here, whatever faculty you sit in.
We invite submissions, peer reviewers and readers from every one of these fields: the journal is deliberately multi-disciplinary, because the evidence that changes children’s lives rarely comes from a single discipline.
