Founding-stage policy

The safety and dignity of children come first in everything CIJ publishes and promotes. Research must never expose children to harm, exploitation or identifying disclosure.

CIJ will not publish material that identifies children in vulnerable circumstances without robust, documented justification and consent.

Safeguarding concerns about published or submitted work can be raised through the complaints process.

CIJ does not currently claim membership of, or endorsement by, any external body.
