Peer Review Policy

Founding-stage policy

CIJ operates a human-led peer-review process. Manuscripts that pass initial screening are assessed by independent reviewers for methodology, quality of evidence, citation integrity, research ethics and originality.

AI tools assist with screening and consistency checks, but AI-assisted assessments are always subject to human Academic Editor oversight, and publication decisions rest with human editors.

Reviewer and editor appointments for the founding editorial structure are in progress; CIJ will publish the names of appointed editors and reviewers once appointments are formally made.

CIJ does not currently claim membership of, or endorsement by, any external body.
