Complaints & Appeals

Founding-stage policy

Complaints about editorial decisions, published content or CIJ processes are reviewed by a member of the editorial team who was not involved in the original decision.

Appeals against editorial decisions must present substantive grounds (for example, factual error in the review process), and the Academic Editor's decision on appeal is final.

At founding stage, complaints are handled by the founding editorial office; contact details are provided on request and will be published here as appointments are confirmed.

CIJ does not currently claim membership of, or endorsement by, any external body.
